Mohammad M. Hussain is a Board Certified Pediatrician with over 30 years of experience. He is the owner and Chief Medical Officer at the Children’s clinic of Michigan.
He completed his initial medical education at the University of Chittagong in Bangladesh and immediately came to the U.S to complete his residency in Pediatrics at the Lincoln Medical Centre in Bronx, NY. Following his residency, Dr. Hussain practiced as a pediatrician in Jamaica, NY and in Texas with extensive experience in primary pediatrics and hospital care in the PICU, Level II Newborn nursery and ER. His vision for the Children’s Clinic of Michigan was brought to life in 2001 in the city of Hamtramck, where he chose to remain for the last 20+ years.
Dr. Hussain is also currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Wayne State School of Medicine, teaching medical students, family practice residents and physicians’ assistant students in the clinic and hospital settings. He has received several awards for his contribution towards excellence in medical education, community engagement and philanthropic effort.
In 2024, Dr. Hussain received an award for being in the top 1% for immunizations in all of Wayne County! Furthermore, his efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic to assistance the community, improve healthcare access and COVID-19 immunization were recognized by numerous community organizations.
Dr. Hussain takes immense pride in servicing this community and his passion for the health and well being of his patients shows no bounds. He currently provides community support outside of the office through numerous charitable contributions, community health fairs, vaccine fairs and participation in county wide health initiatives. On his off time he enjoys spending time with his two young grandchildren, family members and traveling.
Farzana Noor is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director at Children’s Clinic of Michigan. She has been with the CCM since 2019. Farzana received her Bachelor’s of Nursing (2013) and Masters of Nursing –FNP (2019) from Oakland University. She continued on to receive her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Oakland University in 2023. She also holds a Neonatal ICU certification (C-NIC) and certification in Care of extremely low birth weight neonates (C-ELBW).
Farzana collectively has almost 10 years of experience in working with neonates and the pediatric population at the DMC. Her experience includes providing nursing care at Level 3 and 4 NICU/Pediatric trauma centers. Throughout her time at the DMC Hutzel/Children’s Hospital of Michigan, she spent countless hours volunteering for the March of Dimes (non-profit for premature infants) as an ambassador.
Since starting at CCM in 2019, Farzana has provided immunization support through the COVID-19 pandemic including helping launch multiple immunization initiatives. CCM was the first private office in Hamtramck to vaccinate over 1200 individuals in one weekend with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine when they were first available. In 2023, Farzana received the “Top 10 under 35yo” award from Oakland University for her community health initiatives and accomplishments since initially graduating from OU 10 years ago. She continues to improve access to immunizations for our patient population and improve healthcare access to our community as our Medical Director.
Farzana is also a Clinical Preceptor with Oakland University for Nurse Practitioner students and with Wayne State University for Physician Assistant students. She speaks English, Bangla and Urdu. On her off time she enjoys spending time with her twin daughters who are 8 years old, spending quality time with family, local activities and finding new ways to engage in the community.
Afsana Uddin is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She first joined CCM as a student nurse practitioner in 2021 and now serves patients every Saturday at our Hamtramck office. With more than a decade of diverse clinical experience—including Cardiothoracic ICU, home health, and healthcare leadership— she brings a well-rounded approach to patient care.
Afsana earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she now teaches as a professor, guiding the next generation of nurses. Her leadership and advocacy have been recognized through awards such as Detroit Mercy’s DNP Leadership Impact Award and CVS Health Foundation Scholar Award. She also served as president of her university’s Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners (MICNP) chapter, championing the advancement of the nurse practitioner profession.
Afsana is passionate about health care research, advancing equity in underserved communities, and promoting holistic health. She has pioneered food incentive programs with the Detroit Eastern Market to support patients in managing chronic conditions through nutrition and exercise. Beyond her clinical work, she enjoys giving back by volunteering at and organizing community health fairs, partnering with organizations such as the Detroit Veterans Affairs and Hannan Center.
Madhiha Islam, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Associate at Children’s Clinic of Michigan. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University. During her clinical training, she gained hands-on experience across a broad range of specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, emergency medicine, surgery, and behavioral health, helping shape her comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
Madhiha has had the privilege of serving patients of all ages and backgrounds for several years. Her journey in medicine began in 2018 as a medical assistant at Children’s Clinic of Michigan, where she was proud to be part of the team that helped launch the clinic’s second location in Warren. She is fluent in English and Bangla, allowing her to connect more personally with the diverse communities she serves.
As a dedicated Physician Associate, Madhiha is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, creating art, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
Jannatul Fardawsy is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner working at our CCM Hamtramck and Warren office. She has been with the Children’s Clinic of Michigan since 2021. Jannatul spent clinical time at our office during her NP rotations and joined us shortly after graduating.
Jannatul received her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences in 2014, followed by an accelerated Bachelors of Nursing from Wayne State University. She continued on to receive her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan in 2020. Jannatul has spent numerous clinical training hours in various settings including internal medicine, family medicine and pediatric rotations.
Upon completing her nursing education, she has worked in both the hospital setting and home health care settings providing nursing care and overall health maintenance support. She has spent numerous hours assisting with research in areas such as Cardiology, Hypertension, Diabetes and management of liver diseases with professors at Wayne State University.
Jannatul has spent time countless hours giving back to the community through volunteering at various organizations. She has held board member positions with Build On (community service organization) and the Muslim Student Association. Her volunteer efforts include time at the Huda clinic, various food banks and subsidized medical care centers. During her off time she enjoys traveling, gardening, ice skating and spending time with her two young daughters.
Fatin is board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Children’s Clinic of Michigan. A proud Detroit native, he completed his entire academic journey at Wayne State University, earning a Bachelor of
Science in Biology (2014), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2019), and both his Family Nurse Practitioner certification and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (2024).
Fatin brings more than six years of diverse nursing experience from Trinity Health Hospital, where he served as a charge nurse, preceptor, and Daisy Award recipient for his compassionate, high-quality care. His clinical background includes medical-surgical nursing, cardiovascular care, emergency medicine, trauma surgery, orthopedic and gastrointestinal care, and wound management. Beyond the hospital, Fatin has a background in physical therapy and experience home healthcare, expanding his ability to support patients across the continuum of care. He has also contributed to international medical research in Belize and authored published research in virology studies and exercise physiology through Wayne State University’s School of Medicine and Eugene Applebaum College.
His nurse practitioner training has spanned family practice, federally qualified health centers, acute care, and urgent care settings, giving him a well-rounded foundation to serve children and families.
At the heart Fatin’s career is his passion for service. He is devoted to improving healthcare access in
underserved communities and helping families thrive. His approach blends evidence-based practice
with compassion, prevention, and education to build trusting relationships with patients and families.
Outside of medicine, Fatin enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. He loves
traveling, hiking, cooking, watching anime, and is an avid sports fan who enjoys both playing and
watching.
